From The Editor
 | I welcome you to the reading of this maiden edition of our journal, Annals of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (Acemedicince). The birth of this journal is a dream come true for the Association of Specialists Medical Doctors in Academics (ASMEDA) Sokoto State Chapter. Acemedicine is the first of its kind publication by any branch of the association in Nigeria. The Journal like those of its other professional body’s counterpart was initiated to project the image of ASMEDA and also take a lead in applying professionalism in the publication of scientific research works in the field of medicine and its allied areas. |
This maiden edition of the journal has achieved these laudable goals to a greater extent. Out of the numerous research articles received across the country, the Editorial board members of this journal have decided to select only ten (10) articles for publication in this first edition after a thorough and stringent screening process complimented by rigorous peer review mechanism.
The online version of this edition had earlier been published with its International Standard Serial Number {ISSN 27144674 (online)} in place to protect the interest of the contributing Authors who patronize us. Efforts are on-going to acquire indexing rights for the journal.
I hereby use this opportunity to thank the entire members of the Editorial board of Acemedicine for their untiring efforts to see to the success of our mandate and ASMEDA members in Sokoto Chapter for their confidence on us. Once again, happy reading.
